Position Summary


We are seeking an experienced Epic Grand Central Analyst for a six-month, fully remote contract supporting a large health system that has been live on Epic for approximately three years. This individual will support, maintain, and optimize Epic Grand Central functionality with a focus on ADT, patient flow, discharge, and transfer center workflows.


Key Responsibilities

• Support, build, test, and optimize Epic Grand Central workflows and functionality.
• Provide expertise around ADT orders, admissions, discharges, transfers, discharge planning, and patient flow .
• Support Transfer Center workflows and related operational processes.
• Perform application build and configuration involving Data Courier, security, and flowsheets .
• Troubleshoot production issues and partner with clinical, operational, and technical teams to identify and implement solutions.
• Work directly with end users and business stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve issues, and recommend workflow improvements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation approximately once every 4-5 weeks .
• Develop and maintain appropriate system and workflow documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Current Epic Grand Central certification required.
• Hands-on experience supporting Epic Grand Central in a hospital or large health system environment.
• Strong knowledge of ADT, patient flow, discharge, and transfer workflows .
• Experience with Data Courier, Epic security, and flowsheet configuration .
• Strong troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
